When you visit our website

When you purchase Optimz
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy Inc., who acts as the Merchant of Record and independent data controller for your payment. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, billing address, and payment details to process your order, generate your license key, and comply with tax obligations. Please review Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy for details on how they handle your data. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
When you use the Optimz application
The app sends your license key and a randomly generated device identifier (not tied to your personal identity) to Lemon Squeezy's License API to verify that your license is valid. No other usage data, telemetry, or analytics is collected or transmitted by the application. Your settings and configuration are stored locally on your own device only, never sent to us. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
When you join our Discord community
Discord Inc. is a separate, independent data controller. Any information you share on Discord (username, messages, license key entered via the /verify command) is subject to Discord's own privacy policy at discord.com/privacy. We only see your Discord username and whether your license key verification succeeded — we do not receive your Discord password or other account details. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — joining Discord is entirely optional.
When you contact us
If you email us or reach out via Discord for support, we process the information you provide (email address, message content) solely to respond to your inquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. How Long We Keep Your Data
Order and payment data: retained by Lemon Squeezy as required by tax law (typically up to 10 years under German law), independent of us.
Support correspondence: deleted after the matter is resolved, unless a longer retention is legally required.
Discord messages: subject to Discord's own retention settings.
